The ongoing challenges in Cuba.

The ongoing challenges in Cuba underscore the critical need for humanitarian aid and compassionate action. Many individuals and families are facing severe shortages of food, medicine, and basic hygiene supplies, making daily life incredibly difficult. In response, Outreach Aid to the Americas (OAA) has been actively sending containers filled with nutritious food, essential medicines, and hygiene kits to support vulnerable communities.

We are also supporting local churches to help strengthen community resilience and spiritual unity. The beneficiaries include the elderly, children, pregnant women, and others most in need. As people of faith and hope, we are called to come together and extend love and assistance to those in need.

Let us pray and act with kindness, trusting that our efforts can make a meaningful difference. Together, we can demonstrate the power of compassion and bring hope to those who need it most.

Providing Food Relief

Outreach Aid to the Americas has recently shipped containers of nutritious food to Cuba filled with items such as beans, canned goods, and MannaPack® rice, a highly nutritious, fortified food designed to combat malnutrition and support vulnerable communities,  helping families facing severe shortages. Our efforts aim to bring immediate relief and renewed hope during these challenging times.

Supporting Healthcare

In response to critical healthcare shortages in the island, we have delivered essential over-the-counter medications to the elderly, children, and vulnerable families. Ensuring access to basic medicines helps strengthen health resilience across the island.

Spreading Faith & Community

At Outreach Aid to the Americas, we believe in the transformative power of God’s love to bring hope, healing, and unity to individuals and communities. Recognizing the importance of spiritual guidance during challenging times, we are committed to supporting Cuban churches with essential resources. Through the distribution of Bibles, religious materials, and other items, we aim to strengthen the faith of church leaders and congregations alike.

This support not only provides practical tools for spiritual growth but also inspires renewed hope and resilience amid difficulties. By fostering a sense of community rooted in Christ, we seek to encourage unity and perseverance among believers. In these trying times, we trust that God’s grace can serve as a guiding light, leading individuals and communities toward renewal and peace.

Our efforts go beyond material aid; they carry a message of encouragement and the assurance that, through faith in Jesus Christ, no one walks alone. With God’s love and compassion, we pray for a stronger, more connected church community built on His truth and grace.

Bringing Hope to Cuba

The humanitarian situation in Cuba continues to deteriorate as ongoing economic strain and reduced oil supplies deepen shortages and make daily life increasingly difficult for families across the island. Access to basic necessities—especially food—has become one of the most urgent concerns.

In response, Outreach Aid to the Americas (OAA) is increasing humanitarian food shipments to Cuba to help meet this growing need. We are prioritizing the delivery of MannaPack® rice, a highly nutritious, fortified food designed to combat malnutrition and support vulnerable communities.

Each bag of MannaPack provides multiple servings of rice blended with vegetables, soy protein, vitamins, and essential minerals. With every bag producing up to three meals, a single container can deliver tens of thousands of life-sustaining meals. The impact is significant: one shipment can represent more than $200,000 worth of nutritional support reaching families who need it most.

Thanks to the generosity of private donors and partners, we are able to expand these efforts and deliver aid efficiently. To ensure that assistance reaches communities safely and directly, distribution is coordinated through trusted local networks, including Catholic and evangelical churches.

This initiative reflects our deep commitment to stand with the Cuban people during a time of increasing hardship. While the challenges are ongoing, every shipment brings nourishment, dignity, and hope.

We remain grateful to all who make this work possible. To participate copy this link https://oaausa.org/donate/
